4/16/10 Weekly Update
Greetings on this sunny Friday! A week ago I was out hiking in Kentucky. I had a glorious trip, and have posted all the pictures of spring, cliffs, streams, vistas, sunsets, woodland flowers, smiling people (and dogs!) on Facebook. If you aren't on Facebook, these links should get you to those photo albums:

I hope you enjoy! Its beautiful here too . . . and I am truly wowed by all the Virginia Bluebells out and about today! What a joyful song they sing, in their merry blue coats.
I've been having a lot of fun working with our own Devin Jane as she prepares for her first sermon. Please come out a support someone as she does something very brave. Just think how much our world needs bright young souls to carry our dreams forward . . . her energy is infectious!
See you in church!

Sunday 4/18/10
8:30 am Music Rehearsal
9:30 am Service "The Wisdom of Dr. Seuss" Rev. Eva Cameron & Devin Jane King preaching
(Stephen Orsborn as Worship Associate)
One day Devin told Rev. Eva that she thought it looked really fun to preach.
So Eva asked her what she would preach about if she had the chance. Devin said she thought that Dr. Seuss had some important messages for UU's
to remember. So we promise you that this will be a service you will never forget, as our congregation hears the powerful voice of a young fourth-grade girl who is just daring enough to realize she has something to share. We recognize that more children may want to stay through the service than usual. We recommend that those enrolled in Chalice Children still plan on attending their class, as their teachers have a lesson planned. All others should enjoy themselves!
