Weekly Update

4/22/11 Weekly Update
I'm going to send this off this evening, since I want to remind you that we have a service tomorrow at lunchtime.
I hope you have had a good week. Mine has been busy reconnecting with people and remembering all the various tasks that a minster does every week! Its been a joy to see so many of you, and I look forward to seeing even more of you in the coming weeks. If you have stories to share with me to update me on your life, please call or email so that we can set up a time to meet and catch up!

See you in church!
~Eva

VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT

Make a difference in 2011!
Do you love children? Do you love to help others?

If you answered yes, then the Parent to Parent program can connect YOU with a new mother and baby who can use
your encouragement.  You don't have to have parenting experience, but mothers and grandmothers are welcome!
Being a mother can be as challenging as it is rewarding, and a Parent to Parent volunteer makes a difference in the life
of a new mother through regular visits and phone calls to a mother and her baby.

Training for new volunteers will be held Saturday, May 21st from 9 am – 1 pm in Suite 409
at Family & Children's Council. Please pre-register by Monday, May 16th.

To pre-register or for more information,
